Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, using a PivotPOS app, accessing a business dashboard, accepting an invitation, or placing an order through a PivotPOS-powered site, you agree to these terms.
If you use PivotPOS for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining accurate business information, protecting login credentials, setting appropriate staff permissions and keeping device access secure.
PivotPOS supports role-based permissions, device registration and PIN login, but business owners remain responsible for assigning access correctly and removing access for former staff.
Subscriptions, plans and add-ons
Some features are controlled by plans, usage limits, add-ons or subscription status. Features may be restricted when a plan expires, payment fails, usage exceeds limits or a business downgrades.
Prices, features, grace periods and plan limits may change over time. We will aim to communicate material changes through the platform, email or public notices.
Business data and operations
PivotPOS stores business records such as products, staff, roles, orders, payments, customers, branches, printers, business days, sync events and online orders.
You are responsible for checking tax settings, receipt details, product prices, stock levels, staff permissions, regulatory information and payment records before relying on them for business decisions.
Payments and third-party services
PivotPOS may integrate with payment gateways, email providers, app stores, hosting platforms, printers, barcode scanners and other third-party services. Their own terms, charges and availability may apply.
We are not responsible for outages, declined transactions, settlement delays, account restrictions or policy decisions caused by third-party providers.
Acceptable use
You must not use PivotPOS for fraud, illegal activity, unauthorized access, abuse of staff or customers, malware, spam, payment manipulation or attempts to disrupt the service.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account creates security, legal, payment, operational or platform risk.
Limitations
PivotPOS is provided to support business operations, but no software can guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect synchronization, error-free reports or compatibility with every hardware device.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PivotPOS will not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, business interruption or losses caused by incorrect setup, third-party failures or unauthorized account access.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product, legal requirements or business model changes. Continued use of PivotPOS after updates means you accept the revised terms.
